Thethingsido is the personal blog of Philipp, a student by day and designer by night. I love Icons and pretty User Interfaces. This is why I plan to focus on these topics, although I’m not a professional Icon/UI Designer. I thought it’d be fun to write about the things I learn rather than those I am good at (which is sleeping, anyway).
Another reason for blogging was that I wanted to test my english skills in the wild. I am german and I’ve never been to an English speaking country. Most likely, a lot of language and grammar mistakes will occur. Whenever the article you’re reading seems to be written in a strange chinese dialect it’s still supposed to be English.

As mentioned before, my name is Philipp and as I write this, I am 17 years old. In my spare time, I dabble around in Photoshop where I create (mostly web) Interfaces and Icons.
